Lifetime Equine Refuge welcomes ‘Random’, a glorious wild paint to its Sanctuary

GREAT NEWS!

July 27, 2015 – Wild For Life Foundation, Studio City, CA: We are pleased to welcome our newest
addition to our wild horse sanctuary. ‘Random’ a wild horse paint of significant size had been feral and living on the Edwards Air Force base, and then sadly he was sent to auction.

“Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF) is delighted to collaborate with Farralone Farms, the rescue that saved Random from auction,” said Katia Louise, president WFLF. “We are honored to accept him into our program and look forward to providing him with the ongoing special care and space he needs.”

“Random was not even halter broke and we had our work cut out,” said Saskia Chiesa of Farralone Farms. “Recently he spent 2 weeks with Monty Roberts during a clinic for Gentling Wild Horses.” It had been determined by Monty that Random had previously been severely abused and used for horse tripping.

At Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF) rescue is just the beginning of a long dedicated journey to assuring peaceful and healthy lives for victimized horses. Through Wild for Life Foundation's Emergency Equine Rescue and Recovery Mission we save and evacuate equines from life threatening situations and disaster. We partner with animal control services to facilitate and provide for the rescue and placement of equines seized in animal cruelty cases. Through WFLF's Safe Haven Emergency Rescue and Recovery, we serve the community needs of at risk equines both locally and on a national level. As part of WFLF's Safe Haven Emergency Rescue and Recovery program, WFLF's Wild Horse Safe Haven Protection Program (WHSHPP) was founded to provide safe and healing environments for incoming imperiled wild horses that need special time to recover and heal from emotional trauma and physical injuries sustained during capture and removal from the wild and or their traumatic experience in the slaughter pipeline.

The Wild For Life Foundation offers positive alternatives which protect and preserve America’s Wild Horses. Having developed innovative methods for sanctuary management that include community enrichment and sustainable ecological approaches, Wild For Life Foundation’s present need is for general operating support for its Mustang Sanctuary Program. Support for Wild For Life Foundation's Mustang Sanctuary & Indigenous Heritage Project can be made in a variety of ways. One can become a donor or sponsor, sponsor a wild herd, purchase or donate acreage towards the expanding the Wild For Life Foundation Land Trust’, volunteer at the Sanctuary, participate in some of the educational programs, or "take action" through social media by raising awareness.

Lifetime Equine Refuge is the primary equine rescue program under the Wild For Life Foundation. Donations to the Wild for Life Foundation are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. Federal ID No. 26-3052458
