Meet Arrow. She is a beautiful Appy mare about to lose everything. She's
16 years old and healthy, but she was over worked while used for barrel
racing and didn't receive proper care.. when she could no longer
perform she was abandoned. She was taken in by a good Samaritan that
has since fallen on hard times. Arrow has arthritis in her rear legs and she just needs a safe and loving place with a small pasture or turn out. She is an excellent candidate for ground work/ equine assisted learning- therapy programs. She halters, picks, loads and is good with other horses.
We are currently looking for a foster care provider for Arrow to buy
time for her transition into permanent placement down the line. If you
have room for her as a foster, or know someone else that does, please
get back to me directly. Time is of the essence. We must work quickly
to keep Arrow out of the slaughter pipeline. Please share to help.
