WFLF's Lifetime Equine Refuge is rescuing three companion horses who were on the verge of going to slaughter, and we are working to bring them immediately into our Safe Haven Network.
We got the emergency call requesting urgent aid for these three young horses just the other day. Our emergency rescue team immediately delivered temporary hay and feed provisions for the horses and upon assessment found they range from approx 5 - 12 years old, are all without shelter and severely emaciated.
The mother of the owner reports that her son was in an accident and has since been unable to provide them the care they need. The owner has since agreed to surrender them, but time is of the essence.
Will you help Wild for Life Foundation save these horses and care for others like them with a gift to our Emergency Rescue Fund today?
Together we can make this story of broken bodies and shattered lives whole again.
Sky is a mild Arabian/mix mare.. and Rocky is a gentle and kind QH stud.. both with strong trail riding backgrounds. Michelle is a darling chestnut mare, halter broke with training in ground work and just as sweet as can be.
Experienced equine care providers interested in helping to foster or adopt a horse in need are also invited to join WFLF's Safe Haven Network. With your help, horses like Sky, Rocky and Michelle can receive that second chance at life.
If you have room for a horse in need, or know someone else that does, please contact WFLF's Lifetime Equine Refuge directly. firstname.lastname@example.org
Donate directly to WFLF's Lifetime Equine Refuge to support this rescue mission. We rely 100% on donations to save horses in need.
