ANIMAL ADVOCATE TV INTERVIEW WITH FILMMAKER KATIA LOUISE about SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES, the MOVIE

Now see AATV's interview with Katia Louise, an international award-winning filmmaker whose most recently produced film, SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES - A NATION BETRAYED has won many prestigious awards, including Best in Festival at the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival, as well as Best Environmental Film in Canada at the International Film North Film Festival.

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES is a documentary exposé that investigates the bond between horses and humans and examines the horse slaughter issue through irrefutable documentation and evidence, as well as captivating visuals to inspire viewers to make a difference in order to protect our horses from slaughter. The current Agricultural Appropriations Bill H.2112 has effectively lifted the five-year ban on horse slaughter in the U.S., allowing the federal government to fund USDA inspections of horses for slaughter. Because this issue is important to the American people, with more than 70 percent of U.S. citizens in strong opposition to the practice, AATV interviews Katia Louise in response to the recent public outcry from American’s regarding the latest legislation, as well as to bring exposure to the critical film. During the interview, AATV asks Katia how she got involved in animal advocacy, what inspired her to create the film and what we can all do to ensure this important documentary is brought to the masses for the welfare and essential protection needed for our wild and domestic horses.
